Open Studios and Upcoming Classes

Just wanted to let you know about upcoming classes, and also about the Open Studios at the Indian Orchard Mills, Friday May 1st, 6-10pm, and Saturday the 2nd, from 12-4pm, Come and check out all the spectacular artists at the Mill! It's always a blast. I'll be open, having a raffle for a series of classes and a workshop, so stop by Building 2, 3rd floor. Hope to see you there, or in one of these classes:

Creative Writing 101: Have an idea for a book kicking around in your head, but don’t know how to begin? Jump “write” in, in a supportive, non-judgmental atmosphere. Learn to develop characters, choose point of view, write evocative description and realistic dialogue. Five-week session, $125.Next series begins Monday, May 25th, from 6:30pm-8:30pm.

ALSO NEW MORNING CLASSES Beginning June 25th, 10am-12pm, Thursdays. Write That Book Now!: Have you started a book, article, or story that’s just sitting in a drawer? Get fresh inspiration with craft lessons and in-class exercises. Next session begins Wednesday May 6th, 6:30-8:30pm. Four week session $100.

Continuing Ed: Stay motivated and inspired while you continue your writing project. We’ll work on the finer points of style, structure, voice and organization of your project. Four week session, $100. Ongoing, Tuesdays from 6:30-8:30pm.

Story In A Day Workshop: Write a short story draft in this five-hour session. Learn to work from prompts to develop fascinating characters, a Ka-Pow beginning, killer dialogue and a satisfying resolution. $100 includes materials and lunch. Saturday, May 16th, 9:30am-3:00pm.

Classics Book Group, third Thursdays of each month. In May, maske a date with Mr. Darcy. We'll ber discussing Pride and Prejudice , Thursday, May 21, starting at 6:30pm. Free, but please call to register.
